As one of the most beautiful country of the world, Nepal is surrounded by the mountains, Himalayas and hills and is also equally nurtured with various culture and traditions. Nepal is multi-ethnic, multi-Lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious country. But however, majority of the country an about 81% of the population is highly influenced by Hinduism.

Nepal, once an only Hindu nation of the countries was declared as the secular country vocally at 2008 after the 240 years of old monarchism was abolished. After the eight years of political turbulence, Nepal promulgated constitution declaring Nepal as secular state with “Religious and Cultural freedom”. . Even after the many voices were raised and wide protest were held to reinstate the Nepal as again the Hindu nation.

As warm in its culture, Nepal equally suffered the cold economic downfall due to internal political conflicts, civil war and even went more challenging after the major earthquakes hit the country twice.

Nations impact is reaching out to the places that has been experiencing destituteness and a spiritual darkness. After the major earthquake, Nations impact is sending out the helps (disaster help) and preaching out the Gospels. In midst off chaos and confusion, we are trying to build up the hope, comfort and peace in people’s heart and mind through the word of God and Holy Spirit. We are a working among underprivileged women and children that are in risk, and living a life without hope. We are empowering and strengthening them through the love of God and their real identification in God.

How You Can Help:

Nepal is known as poor country and worst of human trafficking in Nepal. Extreme poverty along with a fatalistic mindset made the region a haven for exploitation. With the help of our partner on the ground the region is opening up to tourism, which is creating new opportunities to develop alternative income streams and brining hope that the future can be different.
In the many districts of Nepal the main economy is subsistence farming. Subsistence farming does not lead to any cash income. Currently, a family can earn $70 per month performing hard labour but they must leave their own fields to do this. When working separately, away from home, for minimal income, members of the family are much more at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking.
Since 2010 our partners have brought tourism business to the area, employing villagers to build trails, act as guides, and host tourists. Some villagers have converted their homes into “homestays”, with permanent guest rooms available for tourists who want to stay with Nepali families.

For the villagers who cannot run homestay businesses for tourists, you can help families start other small businesses for income generation beyond subsistence farming.
We have three opportunities to partner with them:

Knitting and sewing Business

You could provide a family with a knitting sewing business for only $400! This will help supplement the income from their farm and provide hope and a sense of purpose. There is already a corporate customer waiting, so this business will be generating $50 a month almost immediately.

Get a family started with an organic farm for only $375. The produce will be sold to the growing tourism businesses in the area.

You could provide a family with a chicken farm for only $460! This is the most profitable business plan available. By reinvesting some of their initial profits, a family can expect to see monthly profits of over $220.

Purchase 100 chicks to be raised and sold for meat, Supply immunizations, feed, and a shed
Provide basic veterinarian training for a family

Child Sponsorship

For $30 ($40CAD) per month, you can provide school tuition, school uniforms, school supplies, and a daily meal for your child. Your child will also have access to a loving community where he will be introduced to Jesus and taught his own value. Your donation also helps to provide clean water and health care for your child and her family. Your donation may even help your child’s mother receive the training she needs to support her family.
